The 9th Global Cultural Diplomacy Forum
From January 31 to February 3, 2026, the The 9th Global Cultural Diplomacy Forum was held in Moscow. The Forum was organized by the non-profit Artex Foundation (President Ruslan Yavon). The Community of Cultural Diplomacy acted as a partner of the Forum (President of the Community, composer Igor Skvortsov).
The Forum’s mission is to promote international social and economic cooperation through cultural and diplomatic exchange.
The The 9th Global Cultural Diplomacy Forum was held under the patronage of Sheikh Salim bin Sultan Al Qasimi (Member of the Executive Council of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE). Key speakers included: Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage Museum; Emir Kusturica, film director and two-time Palme d’Or winner; Milan Stamatović, Mayor of Čajetina Municipality (Serbia); Tatyana Sizova, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights of Moscow; Sheikh Abdulrahman Al Otaishan, Chairman of the Saudi Bahrain Business Group.
The forum has been operating since 2016 as a platform for direct international dialogue. Over the past nine years, representatives from more than 80 countries have participated. Held under the slogan "Culture — A Bridge Between Civilizations," the forum brought together a wide range of government officials, diplomats, academic leaders, artists, and representatives of international organizations from more than 20 countries.
The following artists took part in the Forum’s cultural program: the United Cultures Orchestra (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Orchestra — Victoria Dobrovolskaya), vocalist Wang Enze, opera singer Katerina Kovanzhi, the Moon Eclipse Group, Bolshoi Theater concertmaster Alexander Anasenko, Liu Noxuan, Sun Fanxing, Yu Siliang, Ekaterina Slozhenikina, the Yulongying People’s Orchestra, Descendants of the Dragon-NT (Heng ting), the Flamingo choreographic studio, Sameh Hamdan (ud), the Moscow Dance Ensemble of the Caucasus and Transcaucasia LIKANA, Salem Islam, and Tatyana Magidova.
