Igor Skvortsov, President of the Society for Cultural Diplomacy, was invited to speak at the World Public Summit "New World: Africa Shaping a Common Future," which took place on July 30, 2026, at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event, organized by the World Peoples' Assembly in partnership with the Global Black History, Heritage, and Education Center, brought together over 2,000 representatives of international organizations, public institutions, government agencies, expert and business communities from 54 African countries, as well as participants from Eurasia and Latin America.
Igor Skvortsov directed and produced the celebratory concert, which took place in the concert hall of the Adwa Victory Memorial (Adwa Museum) in Addis Ababa.
